Don’t judge this book by its cover, because you’ll miss the diamond shining through this LP. Lachi must have
touched King Midas’ robe with her voice because it’s golden, and her band obviously got in on the royal
blessing. An act that can only be described as INCREDIBLE, Lachi is one of the only artists today who is
breathing life into an era of music where cliché synth pop songs have committed serial eardrum murders via
broadcast radio waves.
Very seldom do I get this excited about music, but Lachi brought it out of me. If I had to draw a comparison for
those who need one, imagine a cross between India Arie, Alanis Morissette, and Sixpense No The Richer
vocally, while the band can match up with Dave Matthews Band.
Although the album doesn’t release until July 27th, the bottom line is, you should buy it and get reacquainted
with real music.
